The YMCA of Canberra is a community based not-for-profit organisation providing a range of accessible programs and services for people of all ages in the Canberra community.
Our core areas of program and service delivery are;
Early Childhood: Early Learning centres, Physi-kids,Playschool, Rhyming Connections, Paint and Play
Outside School Hours Care: Before & After School Care, Vacation care
Health & Fitness: Health and fitness centre, Community fitness programs, Special population groups fitness programs, Sailing club, Runners club, Seniors Sports Carnival
Group Accommodation: Bush Capital Lodge

The YMCA of Canberra is part of the broader YMCA movement which was initially founded in 1844 in London by George Williams. The YMCA has been operating in Australia for 165 years.
The YMCA of Canberra operates from roughly 40 venues around Canberra and serves approximatley 150,000 participants each year. Volunteering is still a strong component of the YMCA and we have two clubs - Sailing and Running and a Fundraising support body-YMCA Auxiliary which are run by volunteers.
